OoooPs..I did it again!

I can't seem to stay out of my shop but rainy days will do that. I made up a solo rack some time ago but never use it to tie things down on it because the bungees might scratch the fender that is exposed. Hmmm..what to do..then the other nite the solution came to me. Make a three piece solo rack to avoid this problem. I'm going on a trip in a week or so and didn't want to put my cargo rack on this time as I won't be camping. The bags will fill all my needs except when in very hot weather and I want to tie things onto the rack like a jacket or something. This is what I came up with. Not sure how well I like it as it may be overkill and maybe not but for sure it will work just fine on this trip.

Gotta agree with Mac ::)

If there was a true flame paint job underneath, could go as a BBQ grill .

Actually, they look pretty cool. I wish I'd have the tools you have to do these

Dang Bdog, those look great. I wondering where you got the fender rails. Now I know, you made them. Are these polished or chrome, they sure look like chrome! You have a CNC machine? Are you up for doing some other work for pay?

I'm the odd man out. Too much metal for my tastes but that's what make the world go 'round.

It would be better without the extra pieces over the chrome frame rails.

Nice craftsmanship though.

OoooPs..I did it again!

I wish I had a cnc milling machine. Mine is manual which takes a lot of time and the cost of shipping from Canada is expensive are the main reasons why I don't make items for others. I know this set up will work well on my trip but I'm mixed on wether the side plates will stay on after that. I do know that once I pulled the Nomad out of the shop and into the sun the polished billet sure does shine big time...Bdog
