Finally can announce

I had an earlier post regarding whether to use a 8' or 10' trailer to bring my Nomad home and I did just that today!

It had a trunk (aftermarket I think) on it but the painting attempt was poor and instead of matching the red on the bike, the trunk was/is pink! That came off first thing and the passenger sissy bar went back on sans the luggage rack. Now I can spend the weekend shining, polishing, drooling etc.

Here is a quick page I made with a couple pictures:
http://home.comcast.net/~addss/nomad.html

Thanks for the help given on trailering, was extremely helpful!

I like the red and pink 2 tone. Just kidding. Must be the lighting or just me. Congrats on getting her. Love her and treat like a queen and she'll always be good to you.

That's what I was thinking. Did not know that they had that color combo in '01. Looks like my '07.

Congrats whatever the year

Congrats, nice looking one (of course, we say that about most of them, especially certain colors and we all know what they are!) In any event, your life just got a whole lot better. When do you think you'll actually get to ride it?

I had a co-worker that had an '01 just like this, and in certain light the silver reflected the red just right and it looked pink, but in most light it was obviously silver....

Looks like it's in great shape!
