windshield bag with Phat II's

Somebody asked me about my windshield bag earlier, but I didn't have it back on my bike after getting a new windshield. I put it on today and took some pics. If you don't have Phat II's, it a bag works much easier.

Here's what it looks like mounted. I use Velcro to close it, not the clasp. The clasp would make it so it would have to be mounted way high.





I drilled new holes lower in the bag, to get the bag higher, but still not high enough to use the clasp.





Here's the velcro. I took it to a shoe repair place and paid like $4.00 to have it sewn on.






This is what it looks like from the side. The flaps on the side makes sure that everything stays in, even though it isn't buttoned all the way down like it would with the clasp.

I did the velcro thing with mine also. It was to hard to get to the latch as you mentioned.

Your bag would be a better bag than the one I have. In that first picture where the braids are touching the risers, that's tight and as far as the cover will go down. And that with mounting it an inch higher up.
