How do you thnk it works?
You buy a new 1700 cc bike and they knock off $1700.
Buy a 900 and they knock off $900.

I got one of those in the mail last week, too. Kawi must be pushing the Voyager, as that is what was on the flyer.

I wonder if you can use that in conjunction with any price you negotiate with the dealer?...I would assume so.

I can see the dealer kicking in the same amount and you can drive off with a Voyager for about $14,000 or a Nomad or Concourse for about $12,000. Hmmmmm

Must be more than one version. Mine had the C14 on it.

Is that like the flyer I received from H-D last week, informing me I could own a real Harley (sportster 883 ::)) for only $99/month? The pictures on the flyer were of the Sportster 883 Iron and the XL1200, neither of which were eligible for $99/month financing.

I do wonder... Is the egg shell really cracking? Hardly used bikes have lost value. Saddlebags cost over a grand. A fender is just out of sight and the shipping is worse.

Everyone has a gimick, but no body is spending. Like i said i do wonder.

Well, now that you put it that way TC, it makes sense. I was sure they were giving out Donald Duck Bucks for Disney land.

I did buy a Yamaha a few years back and they gave out "Yammie bucks" (yes thats what they called them) based on the size of the bike you were purchasing. It was basically virtual money credited to your account and was good for anything in the store or service dept. I bought quite a few accessories till the money ran out, then I bought a Nomad!

Harley had that $99.00 a month ad here also, but it a 120 month term for a 883cc bike. I doubt thats a bargain.

ABS is available here at the dealer for $17,999.00

The Missus (a novice) looked the Voyager over and pronounced that the vents in the lowers are a nice touch. The backrest is a little skimpy. The saddlebags are subpar and poorly designed. There are no speakers for the pillion. ??? From the mouths of babes.... ::)

Our dollar is almost at par and we still get to pay three grand more for the same bike here in Canada, plus our generous 13% sales tax.
