I scored mine off ebay too..... Funny story about them....

A couple of weeks ago we were trailering 4 bikes down to SC to ride to Daytona for bike week. I actually had to remove my tips to make the bike fit in the trailer (I am putting them back on when I get a chance)

The reason we trailered

The space we had behind one of the bikes

Loaded and ready to go (on the way home)

Hey guys...just make sure when you put them on not to force them so much that it puts a "pimple" on the outside of them. Just gently tap until snug then use set screw. Take it from a guy that has tips with acne.

I got mine about 18 mos ago on Craig'slist...$50, still new in the box.

Bob...they fasten with set screws <s>that come with them</s>. set screws are on bottom facing up.

OOPS...I REALIZED THE TIPS ARE PREDRILLED FOR THE SCREWS BUT THE SCREWS DID NOT COME WITH THE TIPS...I HAD TO BUY MY OWN..JUST USED A SELF TAPPING SS SCREW. SORRY.

Just put mine on and you wouldn't believe the comments on them. All positive :), I think the bike sounds a little deeper too ? Bought them on ebay!
