I dunno, but something isn't right. My bet is something isn't seated correctly. Unless this is another noise you simply missed before.

If it were me I would go back in there asap, and not run the engine till then. I would probably pull 2 plugs and turn the engine by hand, in NEUTRAL!

Look for metal chips too.

Are you sure you got the limiter spacers (washers) in correctly? They are suppose to look like this:

Does the knock go away when you pull the clutch lever?

If so, no sweat. It's very common for the 1500 & 1600 to have a little knock.

ndbigfish Yes I had them in like that and thank you for the the explanation ) () I would have never had thought to do that in a email I kept trying to explain it to people and was getting confused. I took it back apart and I dont think I had the peice that the washers sit on in all the way Checked it all put it back together and all seem to be ok. I will know for sure when I can take it out and ride it. It was raining like crazy. So fingers crossed. Thank you for everyons help.

Ok I feel really stupid after double checking the clutch two times and the spark plug for firing it turns out I didnt have the exhaust into the head properly and the knock I was hearing was a exhaust leak. Thanks for all the help. This is stupid sighning out.
