Nice trip along the LA coast

A Harley riding friend and I took a 430 mile trip along the Louisiana coast to near the Texas border and back today. Started off with a slight drizzle at 40* with 20 mph NW winds. The drizzle stopped about 1 hour into the trip with clear skies the remainder of the ride. Stayed in the 40's all day with strong northerly winds. Had a great time even though it was a little on the cold side. Great therapy! ;)

Glad to hear you got to ride as well today. You went quite abit further than I did and all I had to deal with was a bit of cold and the SIGHT of snow.

I have to enjoy this time of year as the summer is toooooo toasty to enjoy traveling in the lower metro area.

Sounds like a nice day! I love the roads in that area and I hope to be able to return one day.
