Hwy 90/277 South Texas

A word to the wise...The Texas DPS has just added an extra twenty troopers to patrol the area between Hondo, TX and Del Rio, TX on Hwy 90 and between Eagle Pass and Sonora on Hwy 277. They are not giving any lee-way on speed and 5 mile an hour over the posted 70 daylight or 65 darkness will get you a $250 to $350 ticket depending on which county you are in when caught. This just cost my neighbor $450 for going 80 in a 70.

There are roads where 80 is the posted limit in West Texas. That aint one of them.
