Global Warming...FL style

It has been pretty darn chilly down here in Florida the past few days. So much so, we got some snow flurries and sleet...as far south as Tampa area.

Some of the pictures are just frost, others are of actual snow. My buddy and his daughter made a very little snowman with the snow that was on some spare slides in his lot.

Sorry to hear about that Coach. I think that you need a real snowstorm so she can at least make a proper snowman. :)

uh...NO! I don't want any real snow storms. My electric bill is going to be bad enough from this cold spell, don't need no blizzard type weather to make it spin like top!

Hey Coach, I'm sure it is big news in Fla.

Too bad that it is not making big news in the halls of science where the "science is settled".

When you get enough snow that you have to shovel a couple times a day for a week or so you get a whole new outlook about it. If we had to rely on electric heat here we would be broke in a couple days. Its quite expensive compared to gas here.

I have been watching the weather patterns this year... mostly watching to see El Nino's effect.

Looks like a few areas like FL are abnormal for sure.

If you aren't use to that kind of weather; it can really screw you up.

Northern Illinois so far is heading into a record-matching year of precipitation this winter (snow).

We missed the snow Coach but not the low temperatures. We hit 26 Friday, 19 Saturday, and 21 this morning. Warming up to the low to mid 40's this afternoon before plunging to 18 - 20 again tonight. A gradual warmup is predicted for mid week.

We got the snow and it has been 8 to 12 degrees for the last 3 days
I hate this I moved from Michigan to get out of the cold & snow.

I'm staying put here in NY State.
I figure the way the weather is going, we will have the warmth and sunshine year round and the south will get the snow and cold and blizzards in a couple years.
