Can Anyone Tell Me....

.....for sure what make/model bike you see when you open the following link? It is sweet looking! Looks to me like a Victory of some sort, but I'm not sure. With the fairing and trunk it really looks nice!

Harley V-Rod.

Not really what most think of when they think of a touring bike.

If you look here you can tell by the frame showing through towards the front of the bike.

The bags definitely have the HD look to them. I wonder how those things are selling...

Somebody wanted a HD liquid cooled touring bike. This is an odd choice to turn into a touring bike but each to their own. The tank is deceiving because it is not a gas tank, the gas tank is underneath the seat. Interesting concept.

Found this in the FAQ of the first link;

Question: Who built and designed the custom V-Rod on your home page?
Answer: Its called a " Road-Rod " and the master behind this great creation is long time friend Randy Aron and his company, "Cycle Visions" in San Diego. They did all of the amazing work. Click on the link for more information about cyclevisions.com

Kris;

Without a doubt this is a V-Rod equipped with HD's saddle bags and their shallow "pizza-box" trunk.

The V-Rod motor (designed by Porsche) has been suspected to be the motor for the HD touring-class bikes within a few more years. It is suspected they will give it a bit more power -- however when looking at the specs for this motor, it is surprisingly powerful for its size. (I am referencing various blogs and other sites when making that comment.)

I have seen a V-Rod equipped in this fashion one time. It actually looked pretty good to me in person -- although it is much smaller than many would consider a "touring-bike" to be.
