Clutch parts...part 2
I received my spring today...It IS the same as a 08 Mean Streak. They both are .065". My old spring looks almost new, there are rub marks but not any measurable wear on the tips. I'll wait on the Barnett spring to arrive. I measured all the steel and friction plates, they are all well within spec. The steel plates are discolored from heat. They are not warped. The last steel plate is the "adjustment plate which comes in 3 sizes: 1.6, 2.0 or 2.3mm. My plate is the 1.6mm plate. Do I need to replace everything because of the discolor or can I buy a 2.0~2.3 adjustment plate to "tighten" up the clutch.

Hard to say with out seeing.. I would try that Barnett Spring with nothing else first.
What you can't see is what is wrong... The temper is lost in the spring.

I agree with Mac, I think the new spring will get you back up and running on its own.
