Ride tomorrow! Who's with me?

Tomorrow (01/09/10) my wife is busy with her studies, so I have a lot of "me" time. I think I'll go for a ride. Temps will be in the 70's (eventually). Who else wants to go?

CJ, I'd love to come down for a ride! The overnight low here last night was -31 (not wind chill, temperature!) I could use some warm sunshine.
Sounds like the SW part of the country is the only section with warm weather lately.

-31???? Damn. When I lived in Utah, we seldom went below 0. We'd have a couple weeks a year where the temperature would stay between 5-10 degrees due to the severe winter inversions they get, I couldn't even imagine -31.

CJ, What direction are you planning on riding. We're heading for Death Valley tommorrow.

Wish I could join you CJ. It was 27 here this morning and the high was 33. Tomorrow and Sunday morning the lows are expected to be ~ 20 with the highs struggling to reach 35. Yes, I do live in south Louisiana. Global warming???? Shove it Mr internet inventing Al Gore!

I ended up riding, but not leaving the Valley. I rode over to Cave Creek and back, about 130 miles r/t. Since the Cardinals don't play until 2:00 today, I'm going to try and get some riding in this morning.

Just took a ride to Sam's to exchange the wrong version of Turbotax I purchased yesterday. 38 degrees is too cold for this coona$$ to enjoy riding. It was only 29 miles round trip and I was happy to get it back in the garage.

CJ: Did a short little ride up to Wickenburg Sunday, then west to Salome and on to Quartsite, ended up in Blythe CA, then back home. About 350 miles. Was a good day to ride.

Some day we need to do a FTF.

I wish I'd known you were heading to Wickenburg. That's about 100 miles from where I live. Although Sunday I wanted to be home to watch the Cardinals/Packers game.
