Turn signals falling off.
Hey, this is weird. Went for a ride yesterday and stopped to stretch for a bit.
Walked around the back and the turn signal assy was just ... hanging down by the wires. Yikes! I saw the bolts were still there and got the toolkit out quick. I removed the 8mm bolts holding the cover on the inside ( tire side) of the fender. THis cover kept the attaching bolts from totally falling out. Then I tightened the two 10mm bolts for the turn signal assy. I reinstalled the 8mm bolts and all is well. weird!?!?!? Just something I wanted to pass on to fellow Nomad riders to check. Oh yeah, It is a 2005 with 7200 miles. No mods except the official BD exhaust silencer removal.

Turn signals falling off.
Glad to here you found it before you lost the hardware, On my bike, the bolt that holds my K&N air filter on keeps working loose. It fell off once when I was travelling down the highway, and I had to turn around and pick up (all scratched). Now its one of the things I check regularly.

Turn signals falling off.
Sounds like something they missed in "dealer prep".

Turn signals falling off.
I was doing some cleaning one day and noticed my turn lights were a little on the loose side. So I tightened them up. Also know that a little thread lock works wonders in keeping that from happening again.

Holy cow! I was ignoring this thread because mine is a '05 with only 7300 miles on it so figured,... okay my dumb - I'm headed to the garage right now. Thanks

Turn signals falling off.
Time for the loose rear turn signal thread. There is a steel spacer the bolts go through to secure the truns signals to the bike and they are about 1/6 of an inch to long. Remove the bolts and push the spacers out of the rubber grommets. File/grind about 1/6 of an inch off of the spacers and reinstall using blue lock tight on the bolts. This will stop the turn signals from shaking while going down the road.
