Layed it down and scattered but not the same time

:-[ Yesterday I should have got out of bed crawled underneath and spent the day praying for the end of the day. First thing wife discovered freezer not closed and frosted and thawed meat. Then the dog disappeared (shut in garage). So since my wife wasn't riding in with me I took the bike in to work. Half way in while traveling about 75 another biker points to my bike. Oops one saddlebag is flopped open and my gloves and 1/2 rain suit is missing<scattered to the winds>. Not to mention the volume wasn't high enough on my IPOD to hear at highway speeds. Coming home I stopped a a strip mall and when I pulled out of the parking spot I made an immediate right with not enough throttle and brake/ clutch work and overbalanced. I can't believe I did that, but I managed to lay it down softer than a newborn baby on a blanket. The only good thing was that there were no sctraches since it went down so gently and since it sits on its side at probably a fifty degree angle it is pretty easy to pop back up so I was back on the road right toward home where I finished off the evening by melting the freezer with a propane heater set to close.

I would play hookey today. Leave the blanket pulled over your head and wish this all away.

That sounded like a horrible day, but it seems like you see enough of the humor in life to handle it. ;)

Better luck tomorrow!

Somedays you wonder what you did to deserve days where nothing goes right. I had one like that last Thursday.

Man, that was a lousy day! Maybe you've used up your allotment now and won't have another one in a loooooooong time!

Well that was yesterday and today is a new day.

Glad to hear you are ok, just maybe some hurt pride.

Keep smiling

Speaking of tipping your bike over I was out with some freinds this summer and a girl that was with us asked if she could sit on my bike. I didnt see any harm in just sitting on it little did I know she ment sit on it and stand it up. Oh you guessed it she stood it up and it kept going it slammed into the concreat, aparently the adrenalen was pumping because I picked the bike back up with one arm (back hurt like hell int morning) To my suprise all it did was ripp the chrome floorboard cover off. Not a scratch anywhere else on the bike fixed it for $130.00 and yes she paid for it.

I've had days like that and they really suck. The only thing that makes the day is you weren't hurt, only your pride.

Man, don't you wish some days you could just hit the delete button and start over again!?

Glad it was only the loss of a few things and nothing worse.
