Missing a season

Autumn, fall. One of my fav times of the year seems to be MIA.

It is 20 to 30 degrees dolder than normal here. Snow is forcast for tonight and tomorrow.

I swear we went straight from summer to winter.

Bud, having only 2 seasons isn't a bad thing, unless one of them is winter.

I totally understand. Just checked the weather and it is 35 an has been raining. Normal temps here this time of year should be a low of 45. We usually take what I call our fall color ride but the trees are just turning brown with very little color.

Its been very rainey here for the last week or so except for yesterday. It was real cool but we managed a 200 mile ride. I was fine, but my pal was cold because he has a sport bike with no wind protection. Lets see if it warms up in November.

CJ, We have two seasons and one of them is Winter!! Oh well, as I have said before, it gives a chance to bone up on my fly tying skills. New patterns, new techniques. I can still ride between storms as long as the road is dry. Glad I don't live in Wheatland, Wy. Sorry Landman.

Definately no fall here. Yesterday we were pushing 50 below average for the high.

Fall hasn't made it here yet. October is normally dry with cool mornings and mild afternoons. Plenty of sunshine is the norm. It's been in the 90's when it isn't raining and only comes down to the mid to lower 70's at night. Mosquitos are thick with all of the rain we've been having. Hopefully fall will be here sometime soon. If not, we will go to Winter which is like lots of you guys Fall.

Here in north Alabama it has been raining for so many days I can't recall what it was like without it. Rain expected for the next few days. Possibility of frost Friday night.

With all the rain we have been having the farmers are really hurting as they can't get in the fields to gather their crops.

The temp right now according to the weather channel I have on my laptop shows the temp as 73 degrees and weather but shows it being 59.6 degrees.
