Tall Rider Questions!

Well I finally made the plunge and bought a 2003 Nomad FI from a nice man in Tennessee. So far I love the bike. I did have a few questions for those who are maybe tall like me (6'7", 215 lbs).

-I have the windshield at the highest setting, and still get a decent amount of wind on the helmet. I have heard that custom lowers can help...but I'm wondering if I just need a taller shield (hopefully not)?

-I am planning on doing a 3 week out west trip and was wondering how nice the driver backrests are. I seem to slouch a lot and get lower back pain. Which ones are good? I'm leaning towards the Fire and Steel on eBay for $160

-Is the stock seat good enough for the long trips? I was thinking about getting an Airhawk or beaded seat cover.

What is everyone's thoughts? Thanks in advance!
