Triking my Nomad

Been busy the last couple weeks. MTC kit should be delivered to my dealer sometime this week. If (IF) all goes right, I'll bring my bike to him next Saturday. He'll do the install and Paint it to match my bike and I'll pick it up the weekend after that. Of course, things NEVER go the way I plan, so I figure about 3 to 4 weeks from now I should be picking it up. I'll post picks when I get it.
Now, I'm looking for myself a smaller bike to play with. At first, I thought about a KLR or a 650 VStrom but now, I'm leaning toward an HD Nightster or Super Glide. Just can't make up my mind. I also love the 109R2 too; especially the Limited model in Yellow with a white stripe.
So many bikes, so little money and time ;)
Ride safe,
Dano

Hey Dano, It will be interesting to see those pix when you get the bike done. Don't know about all of the alternative bikes you mentioned except the 109. I rode one before I bought the Nomad. Wanted one BAD. Very smooth engine and tranny with OMG power. Definitely a grin machine.

I didn't see any trike kits available Dano but I'm real interested in this install you're undertaking. I've been appreciating your bike for months and this will really send it over the top.

I'll post some pics when I get it back. It's the MTC Voyager kit.
Should look like these except painted to match my bike

Oh yeah, I appreciate the compliments guys. I've talked to several people with this kit on their bikes and the all love it. Say if you want to tour, pull a trailer or camper, this is the way to go. Safer, brakes in a straight line even if you lock them up, more lights on the rear, you ride less tense (which I hope helps my pain and lets me ride like I use to do) and numerous other comments.
Really looking forward to it.
Ride safe,
Dano

Dano: Does the MTC kit utilize the stock rear wheel or is it removed, and the outer rear wheels do the driving? Ive seen trikes built both ways. Theres a guy around here with a HD trike who can remove the trike kit by pulling a few pins and bolts and it reverts back to a two wheeler in about 15 minutes.

Appreicate it Nightmare. I had a 95 Corvette that color and when I got my fairing and was going to have to have it painted, I decided to get the whole bike painted Corvette Competition Yellow. It does get peoples attention.
Ride safe,

It uses the drive wheel of the bike. It can go from a trike to a bike in 5 minutes or less and back, but, if I get another bike, I won't be changing it back to often. Won't be able to open the bag doors all the way but you can open them far enough to put a jacket in and I have a trunk for bigger stuff. It also comes with a trailer hitch and I plan on getting a trailor later on. Be good for getting groceries and such
Ride safe,
Dano
