Ride of a Lifetime

This may have been asked before, but with Sam moving to Germany and having the opportunity to take his bike,I started thinking about different places to ride.
Hence the reason for this thread.Where would you go if money, time or any other restrictions were not a problem?
A friend of my girlfriend is on a 6 week tour of Europe right now and he is from Australia.
My "Ultimate Trip" would right here in the good ole USA.I wat to be able to tour all 50 states and not be in a hurry to get to the next place so I can enjoy the things this country has to offer.
Touring Australia would be a close second.

Ride of a Lifetime

I think I would like to tour Australia just for the simple reason I love to listen to the way they talk.

I think it would be great to see all 50 states. The world has a lot to offer, but I think our country has a lot as well. The farthest I've been from ND is Seattle, so there is a bunch of country I've never seen. Seeing it on a bike would be twice as sweet!

Ride of a Lifetime

I'd like to take off from here and head up the East Coast to Maine and then head west to the Pacific NW then down the west coast to California and then east through Nevada, Utah, and Colorado to Missouri then south to LA through Arkansas. With my work schedule, I would have to take 96 hours of vacation to have 21 days off. That may be a little fast paced though. I'd want to be able to take my time and not exceed 350 miles per day. One of these days we will make the decision and just do it.
