Towing Motorcycle

I have been seeing more of the towing devices that hold the front tire in a chock or holder while the rear tire is on the road. ie. the Motorcycle Caddy, http://www.motorcycleramps.com/motorcycle_caddy.htm
Any one have experience with this or another such device?
Just curious after seeing them. I am sure there are a few opinions too, and I would appreciat them too.

That will add wear and tear to tires shafts and trannies, but since it isn't auto trannies it shoud be ok for trips say 500 miles or so one way, then use the bike.

I have no idea how you would get a Nomad ft wheel in to the chock and then back out easy though..

Mac, I just put my Nomad in reverse. Just kidding. I parked mine in the yard one day and was too close to a fence and couldn't get it turned around. Had to go across the street and get a neighbor to help me push it back.

I don't think I would trust that setup for my Nomad. If you look close at the way it is built, there seems to be potential for ALOT of stress at the receiver.

I have seen these going across the new york state thruway. I remember them because i did a double take (kinda weird lookin). The ones i have seen had smaller bikes on them, nothing like ours which is upwards of 800 lbs. Not sure what to think. ???

Scary looking, I think I would be a nervous wreck towing my bike like that.

Motorcycles are meant to be ridden not towed.

I use a kendon trailer I picked up for $800....much safer and less wear on the bike....I would not trust one of the devices you are talking about at all.
