We just got home from Sturgis, MS. It was more bikes there than it seemed to be at Daytona. I saw about 50 Nomads but none I knew. Nomads were all over the place even at the small towns along the way. Only thing I saw wrong was there were no bathrooms on the main strip. LOL I did see a harley with a horse saddle for a seat.

I was there, Bobby, there wasn't much I didn't see today. Man, there were a lot of bikes all over. Was my first big rally and I kinda get an idea of what the big Sturgis Rally is like, just on a larger scale. But it was steaming today. Glad I brought some shorts to put on when I got there or I wouldn't have lasted very long. Now can't wait to go to Hot Springs next weekend. Wish y'all could make it. Jamie

And I saw a lot of Nomads today, too. Really saw a lot of Vulcans, period.

Where did you park? I was right across the street from City Hall on Main Street.

We parked at one of the open fields behind a church as soon as you get into town on the right, if you're coming from the west. We parked under a big oak tree, where the group I was riding with usually park. I'm with Jim, we walked around for about 4 hours, eating inside a restaurant to escape the heat and left around 3 pm. Even changed into some shorts and was still miserable. But I'm glad I went, like to know about how many bikes were there. Jamie

Uh, they're talking about Sturgis Mississippi, Dan. I suspect it would be sweltering there.

Yeah, Dan, they got some pretty good prices on some pretty nice t-shirts. Had some for $15 or 2 for $25..All in all I thought every vendor was pretty reasonable. I'm assuming the big Custer rally had theatre-prices? Jamie
