Jardine Rumblers

Has anyone here had any experience with Jardine Rumbler exhaust?
If so was it good or bad? Am I waisting my time with them?

First I have heard of them is from you. I do have this name brand on a 1981 850 triple Yammi though, and for that in the day they were good, but that is just a tad dated.

If you have any link I am willing to look. Most of these guys have a gutted stock set, V&H baggers and a few have Road House.

I actually just got a set from someone.... he went back to the debaffled stock pipes.... said they were too loud for his taste..... He did say that once you got up to cruising speed, he was still able to talk to the better half....

I've not put them on yet... planning a long trip starting next weekend, and didn't want to mess with anything right before.... (knowing my luck, mechanically just isn't a good idea).....

I'm looking forward to putting them on.... i've read a number of reviews on em on the 1500's... but couldn't really find anything on the 1600's...

"goose" has Jardine pipes. Not sure if they are same Rumbler or if they even make more than one style.

Might want to PM "goose."

Did you by chance pick those up off the VROC site? I was looking at a set for sale there but had too many questions about them before I would commit.

yes, that's were I picked them up.... the guy was local.... so didn't have to pay for shipping... which made the deal that much better....

there is a couple of jardine rumbler youtube videos...but on a suzuki and something else....

I will not put them on for at least a couple of weeks, but when I do, I'll try and get a recording for ya....

I'm in the don't touch anything mode until after my big road trip....

anybody find any Rinehart's for the 1600 nomad yet?? thats a big name for the harley boys.

Doc I asked Reinhart directly and was told they do not produce any for the Nomad but that doesnt mean that it will never come to be. I was hoping they had some but no dice :(

Dennis, one day I spent riding behind DK, and when I headed home, I got behind a Road Glide with the black tipped Rinehart's, and they sounded a lot alike rolling down the highway. I think at that time DK had the "loaner baffles" in with just the pin.

Not familar Doc, but most HD mufflers fit the V&H head pipes i think... Might need to mock up mounts though...
