need help with Headlight modulator

i have installed a headlight modulator on my 05 nomad the problem is there is two wires which one goes to the high beam and what is the second one for and after install the high beam does not work now it only modulates the low beam and when switching to high beam it seems as only low beam is on.

Mike, a little more information would be useful. What is the make and model of the modulator?

It sounds like something is not wired right.

There should be two wires that connect into the high beam and two that connect into the low beam. One black wire that goes to gound and a green wire that optionally hooks up to the horn circuit.

Ive seen a couple guys wth those on the bikes and they sure are noticeable.

How do these switch from regulated day time to night time un-regualted? Or do they?

I wouldn't want the effect at night.

Federal law requires a light sensor that disables the feature at night.

appreciate all help i tracced all wireing and have figured the modulator is defective. When i switch to high beam i get power to unit but out of unit for only a second i will have to call them on monday Again Thanks

light sensor tells it to work in the day and tunrns off at dusk, mac thats when the mosquiotes come out dude. :-)

Oh a sort of fail safe if you were so friggin slammed you couldn't see the lights flickering at night huh? Does it have a eye? How are these switched?

Oddly the first one i saw was yesterday out ridin'

I was wondering if all the State Troopers in NH were gonna be waiting around the next bend..

Mine has a wire that leads from the modulator in the light bucket and up my handle bar and it has a light sensor on it. Scary ain't it mac ???

Yeah, don't get me started on thinkin' about eyes and where they shouldn't be thought of much... Ho Ho Ho.. That always leads to another path of thinkin' wherre my hands do it better..
