Well it had to happen sooner or later. I'm surprised it took this long. When Mr. Obama condemned an entire police department as 'stupid' and jumped to conclusions based on his own prejudices and nothing else he proved himself to be a racist. The only honorable thing for him to do is to publically appologize for his arrogance and his ignorance. He will not because he is without honor.

Our President really is an embarrasment.

What was truly amazing was that he chose to address the situation at all....especially immediately following his own admission that "he did not have all the facts"....unbelievable :(" title="" border="0"/>.

I think instead of the officers involved acting "stupidly"...it was obvious that the President SPOKE stupidly....and owes the officers, the Cambridge Police and the nation an apology.

My guess is that the good professor copped an immediate attitude and was his own worst enemy.....but to be clear...that is pure speculation on my part because I definitely "do not have all the facts"....

Pelosi and Waxman are threatening the "Bluedog Democrats". Those are the moderate to conservative dems that aren't falling for the bull$hit policies that Obama and his far left are trying to run down their throats. The "Bluedogs" know what will happen if they turn their backs on their constituents. They'll be out of a job when the elections roll around.
Concerning Obama's remark about the Cambridge police acting "stupidly", I think it's great that he showed his a$$ like his sidekick Biden does practically every day. It's only a matter of 3 more long years for him and a shade over 1 more year for some of his cronies. I only fear that the damage they are doing so quickly won't ever be fixed.

I do a lot of work at Harvard U. I am quite surprised at how little support there is for professor Gates in the area. It is insane how much coverage this has gotten. I am waiting for the bus to arrive with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to turn this into a full media circus.
Most in the area feel the cops did what was expected of them and the poor professor let his mouth run the show.

If it is reported you are attempting to break into a house and you can't prove who you are when asked, I don't care what color you are. You need to at least be cuffed until someone verifies who you are. And if you resist, you go to jail. Quite simple. This would have never made the news if just one circumstance had been different.

All I know is that I am sick of the race baiters and it is clear that Obama is one of those. He learned it from Jeremia Wright and he surrounds himself with clear racists. Remember the "Reverend" who gave the closing prayer at his inauguration? He prayed that 'now white men can make the right decision' or something to that effect. And Sotomeyor is clearly a racist.

This is all very bad for America.

As to the good professor. I've been out with the police on a lot of traffic stops and public contacts. Those people take a lot of crap before they put the cuffs on someone for being a public nuisance. Sometimes I am amazed at their patience. It is very distressing to hear the President of the United States disparage police departments as racist. I know for a fact that most of them go way out of their way to avoid that. Too bad. The white population has been made out to be the bad guy and forced to feel ashamed and appologetic when we need not be.

Yep, no one ever brings up the amount of (white) lives lost fighting to free slaves in the civil war.

No one brings up how much money has been given to nations of minorities because their own nations and races dont help.

It is getting very old hearing how I as a white man owe for a tab that should be considered paid in full. White men didnt start slavery, America didnt start slavery, I have never owned anyone, I have never hung anyone, I have never participated in a KKK parade......

I have been attacked when I was 14-17 because I was white going to a primarily black school but that was ok, they have pent up anger (motivated by community leaders).
I lived in the same housing, I lived the same life style, I had to find the opportunity that was out there for all of us.
I have been told they couldnt hire me because they had to meet a minority number.
I have been passed over for promotion because a black raised hell that there wasnt enough black people in that position.
I have taken Fed tests and got high scores, but when extra points get assigned to results based on color of your skin takes preference.

The list is endless.... and again I wonder..... when is the bill paid?
I am starting to wonder if it will only be considered paid when the white man becomes a slave, which is the direction we seem to be headed. Read the fine print and details in all of these "we have to pass them now" things happening.
When questions are asked, its like in a used car sale... "dont worry about that, we will not take advantage of that statement, its just a standard contract clause that has to be in there"

The answer to the question when is the bill paid? From what I've been told and BHO eluded to in a past interview is never. The only way it will ever end is when all AMERICANS raise their kids without the idea that "They owe you". The same answer applies to that solution; never.

Having grown up in Macon, GA and attended public schools, I could write pages about the "stupidly" race relations that I've been involved in or a witness to. I watched a once thriving prosperous city, intersected by two major interstates, with manicured lawns, where I could leave on my bicycle on Saturday afternoon and be home when the street light came on. melt into a sorry welfare cesspool. I can't say with a clear conscious that it was the FAULT of one race more than another, but one thing that is a fact is that one race more than the other will not VOTE, or by-god get over the self guilt idea.

oldbikers, My fix would be radical. First i would eat up Hollywood stars and send to them to the Middle East, and that would include PETA, and others of that Ilk.

While doing that I would break fedral Income Tax, and anyone who whined would go to the middle East.

Anyone else who whined about race would go to the Middle East.

I would re-instate jefferson Law and the Cons, with the bill of rights being brought back to Jefferson law.

Any whiners would be shipped to the Middle East.

When I was ready I would turn the Middle East into a glass parking lot that would glow in the dark for the next 1,000 years.

China would get no oil what so ever, and if they whined they would be the next glass parking lot.

And I have special ideas for the Shumers, a Pelosies and others of their ilk, like working below grond in a NY state salt mine till death do us part. The only problem with that idea is there is real guys working there already who would hate that.

I wonder if the Canadians would take them in the coal mine apx 20 miles out and under the sea from Sydney NS... A minimal fee could be given for that... Maybe 100 bucks a year?? That would be for all of them...
