Sold the Guzzi

Well.....I sold the Guzzi. I wasn't riding it much any more...was always riding the Nomad. Someone made me an offer and I took it. It broke down on me twice and had to be trailered to the dealer to be fixed both times....with only about 9,500 miles on (not sure cause the darn odometer quit working at 8,850).

First time it broke down I was out in the country. Had to sit there while Ken went on home, got the truck and trailer to come back and get me. Second time, same problem, I just happened to be out riding and was close to the house. Decided to stop by house for restroom and drink of water. When I went back out...same darn thing! This time Ken was at the fire station, our garage is slightly inclined. I could not push it in so just left it there at the edge of the driveway all night. Trailered back to dealer (5 hours away - closest dealer). He says...oh mine has done the same thing too while out riding and I had to get a trailer too. That's enough for me. Bye bye guzzi. :-*

What it was doing was something about the fuel line coming loose but it was someithng inside the gas tank. To fix it you have to take the gas tank off. :-/ Had not replaced the odometer as it was going to be big bucks to do. Getting close the needing tires too. Hey one less vehicle to tag and insure!

Makes life a little simpler also.

More money for bling on the Nomad!

Now you can take a few bucks and take a trip on the Nomad. At least you know you won't be towing it.

Even though they start giving you trouble and you know it is time to let go, it is still like saying goodby to an old friend :'(
