little help for oil filters

Couldn't find any of the SuperTech ST7317 at Wal-Mart today, so I thought I'd just order some online. Where did y'all get your oil filters and where can I get them online. Might go ahead and order 4 or 5. Wasted about an hour already trying to find some. Thanks for any help. Jamie

Can't help on SuperTech, but I bought 4-3323 Bosch from Amazon. Took 4 to get prepaid shipping.

little help for oil filters

I have only used the Kawasaki filters so far. Didn't realize you could use a Super Tech from Wal-Mart. Might check it out. Found out yesterday that my local Wal-Mart carries Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 oil for $8.97 per quart.

Ive started using the Puralator Pure-One(yellow) filter after a few super-tech's. Both work fine. using Mobil-1 Turbo-Diesel oil in the case.

Well, I really feel like an idiot! I've been here since January and have never been to Gadget's page. After DK told me about the Bosch oil filter, I went to Gadget's page and he's got about a dozen filters listed there for the Nomad. I should be able to find at least one of them. I had no idea there was that much information on Gadget's website. You live and learn. Jamie

little help for oil filters

Go to O Rileys... I think that is what the car jobbers are where you are... I go to NAPA, and buy Napa Gold which is a WIX filter. These are the best of the best filters IMO, and they cost 2 dollars more.. I ususally buy 4 at a time, and don;t have to go get one every 3,000 miles.

I but mobile 1 for cars at walley world and full syn gear oil there too. 1 qt of gear oil does 4 oil changes, so it ain't too bad. I change the gear oil at every oil change, every other is ok...

No way is 6.2 factory ounces of gear oil going to last any 24,000 miles! And don't add that last .2 ounces!

Place a common 2x4 under the side stand flat side down and fill the gear oil like that, not trying to 'get more' in there. If you do you will drown the seals and be scrubbing oil leaks off the cement floor.
