Little Ride Today

Rode with the wife up to Camano Island for a house warming today. Had to stop at the outlet malls in North Bend about 45 miles from home and the off chance there was purse she didn't have. After that it was 97 miles of back hiways to my friends house. The trip home was a stop at the casino for dinner and then dodging the cages down I-5 and a couple of other slabs to home. About 250 miles all together.
Decided a couple of things today.
Can't wait to get my new Russell seat.
I really want music when I ride.
My good old Magellan Explorist 500 is all the GPS I need. I'm still good with maps and signs. If I need a women telling me which way to go, I'll turn on the intercom.

P.S. Saw about half a dozen Nomads out there today.

Its amazing how some women have a hard time passing an outlet mall, I think my wifes spent enough at some that Ive probably paid for them twice over. ;)

Sounds like a great trip. I wish my wife could ride decent distances with me. She has emphysema and uses oxygen all the time so she doesn't like to go much more than an hour at a time. And she can't deal with hot weather.

Still, I admire the fact that she even tries.

I'm with you on the seat. All I have to do is to get some pictures taken, but I keep proscrastinating. Every time I go for a ride, I remind myself, tho.

:-)

Once you put in the order they will give you a production date and then you just have to have the pics and seat in at least a week before that. My production date was almost 2 months from my order date and I just sent in the seat and pics in the last 2 weeks. My seat gets started in 2 days and will take 2 weeks. I may have them ship it to me on the road.
