help list
what ever happened to the list of brothers that are willing to help you out if you are in their area? I signed up on the list but now I can't find any where on the site anymore. is the help list still a part of the site anymore? I was just looking to get a new list for the summer riding season for when I get out and travel. I you moved the list let me now where to look.

The list is not published on the forum.
It is mailed to the members who sign up to help others. I think LW is in charge of it.

LW sent me one last year when I requested one.
Read this. How to be a part of the VBA Emergency List... Although it's a rare occurance, motorcycles do break down from time to time. The members of VBA have started an Emergency Support List to help all VBA members in case a member needs help while traveling on a trip. The Emergency Support List is a listing of VBA members in the US that are willing to help. This list is kept by VBA members for VBA members only. The list is not kept online but kept current by one of our members and is sent by request by email attachment in spreadsheet form. We feel this is a more secure way of keeping our information more confidential. If you would like your name and information on the Emergency Support List as well as receive a copy of the list, please do the following: 1. To be a part, you must have a VBA number issued to you. If you don't currently have one, go to www.vulcanbagger.org and apply for one. Also, you need to be in good standing and participate on the Message Forum. 2. Send the following information by email to Larry "LW" Sellers at lw@vulcanbagger.org: VBA Number Full Name City State Pickup/Tow/Trailer? Maximum distance to help? Tools available? Workspace? Camping? Room (bed/couch)? Home Phone Cell Phone Email Address Additional information If you have any questions, please contact LW by email or on the VBA Message Forum. Updates will be sent every three months.

A few people have dropped out of sight that used to be here quite regular. I havn't heard from Unwind2, Radco, Beezer, Kawgirl, and a whole pile of others in a long time now.

Amy has been on a while back but I just got in touch with ole dawg to make sure he was doing OK. He is fine.
My guess is some members don't like the way the forum is now. Tons of new guys with the same questions over and over. Half the new posts are jokes. Some have different bikes and don't find much here for them. They go to their bike specific forums. Some don't like the drama which comes up from time to time ( sometimes I just can't let stupid stuff slide, sorry) Some found the new forum hard to navigate and said to hell with it. Others I would imagine don't like the ball bustin that goes on between older members. Then there are the guys who can't take a little criticism and take their ball and go home.

I gotta agree with TC on all the above. I was one of them but missed my old "friends."

TC and Al, I agree with you guys that there seems to be less from old members.
People's lives change all the time, we have a great site that's why there are new members coming in. They like what they see.
