sick of winter?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of winter. Southern Alberta we typically can ride well into December and then back on in early to mid March. I have been parked since the beginning of November now, and today we got more snow, almost 6 inches since Saturday now, and it is -27C (-17F).

Nothing I can do...just sick of it....

-37C here this morning. Yep sick of winter. Only 11 more days and then it will be officially spring. Then it can not be winter like again until fall.

Our snow is gone around here except where the snowplows piled it up. Its trying to turn to spring but its fighting to the end. I'd still like to go icefishing this weekend, after that let it go up to 75 degrees and stay there.

sick of winter?

We are in the middle of a blizzard here in Fargo, North Dakota. I was hoping that Spring was on the way but -2 F and 40 mile an hour winds with falling snow makes a mess of things. Everything in the city is basically closed except for the coffee shop that my son works at so I get to venture out and risk my life for his $8.00 an hour job.

Sorry to be so cranky but I have not a clue why I still live this far north. Except it is beautiful in the summer....I guess I need to winter in the south.

We hired a guy from Texas at my office last year. All I keep asking him is WHY...Why would he move to this....cold and snow....I think he is asking himself that these days.

sick of winter?

I can relate to how you're feeling!! We got about 10" of snow yesterday(hard to measure exactly, winds are blowing 25-30 mph, and it's 5 below zero right now). But they are predicting temps around 40 degrees this weekend so hopefully alot of it will melt. Maybe by the end of March the ice in my alley will melt and I can try to start getting some miles on! Hang in there!!

The high today was 37 with rain and sleet. Go figure, yesterday 80 and today 37. But that's Texas for you. Suppose to be that way for the rest of the week. We really do need the rain though. So guess we have to take the good with the bad. Back into the 70's next week.

Looks like winter is nearly finished down here. Been in the low to mid 80's every day since the weekend.
