I drove through Spearfish last week but did not spend the night. We did stop and have lunch at a great Mexican Restaurant in Spearfish. Great food and just off HWY 90. Here is the link to the details. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Re....th_D akota.html Have a great trip.

I didn't stay at the Lodge but, if I ever get a chance to go back this is where I'll stay. The restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff, service and food was excellent.

not sure about spearfish but i am staying in deadwood at the penny motel on june 6th and 7th.not a fancy place but very clean and reasonable.vroc is having there 5th annual rally there on the 7th and 8th and kawasaki will
have there demo truck there for test rides of 2011 kawi vulcans.are you by chance planning to attend?phone number for the penny is 605-578-1842.
