Meet & Greet - Calgary Motorcycle Show

Hey All,
I've mentioned this on a previous post and there does seem to be some interest in some sort of a get-together. With the Motorcycle Show less than a month away, I'll throw this out there for ideas.
Dates: January 7 - 9, 2011
Friday, January 7th 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday, January 8th 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday, January 9th 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday night is Ladies Night with half price admission for women.

So let's hear who's intertested and what are your thoughts? When are you planning on going? Do you want to meet up somewhere at the show, or maybe somewhere else for beer and wings or burgers before or after?

Would love to hook up with other Nomaders but I will be going to the Edmonton show and plan on meeting Voyager there. I think a ride this summer would be a great idea for the Albertains too hook up and stroll over to B.C...meet up with other nomaders and show them what a Real Nomad should look like!..I hope I ruffed up some feathers here and give all some incentive to take on the Albertains this summer!!!...John

But make it after June, I'll be heading to the National early June and will probably be gone for at least three weeks. Why don't you come along?

Am working the CMC booth Saturday night. Should be there earlier Saturday to wander around and look at stuff I can't have!

I'd also be interested in a BC/AB meet this Spring/Summer. I figure that Blue River, BC is pretty much equal distance for the West Coast, Edm & Calg people. Calg. & Edm group could meet up in Jasper then ride in from there.
Just a suggestion. Any thoughts?

Roox, Leadbelly & I are going on Saturday. The plan is to meet up for breakfast at 10:00 at Red’s Diner at 1415 - 4th Street SW (I hear they serve a pretty good breakfast and eggs Benedict there). After breakfast we'll head over to the BMO centre and get in there hopefully before the crowds hit.

Anyone wanting to join us is welcome to. Just let me know in advance so that we can request a large enough table at Red's

Hey fellow Calgarians, sorry I missed you at the bike show, I have been out of town for a few months and did not get back to you in a timely manner.

The show was a pretty good one this year IMHO. I have to say the the Vaquero was one of the highlights of the show.

Hopefully some of us can get together in the "off-season" and plan a few rides for when the mercury starts to rise and the roads are dry.
