rear brake switch

At the rally on saturday my light switch was sticking on, I lubed it up and i could adjust it with just my fingers. Is the adjusting nut suppose to be that loose or is it suppose to be tight?

Wish you made it a point to let me know then and there. I had tools, a meter and a ice pick test light. The nut should be tight to hold the switch up hard in it's seat. You can use a screw driver to turn th nut.

that little sucker of a nut isn't easy to get at. I had to use a curved needle nose.

Get at it with a screw driver and coat any scratches you may have made with fingernail polish.

Did you manage to get it adjusted and the nut tightened?

rear brake switch

Mine started to stick a couple years ago, and a good cleaning with some WD40 and a toothbrush solved the problem. It is a real awkward spot to get at.
Like mac mentioned, you should have said something right there, I had my stuff with me as well.
