Hay and Blue Grass...these guys are smarter than the BP staff, the government, and.... and.... and.....

Maybe BP needs to see this.....Almost too simple to believe, and far less expensive than other means.

Pretty simple stuff, when you let some good ole boys figure it out. The execs at BP and/or Halliburton can learn from this demo.

The U.S. has all the brain power in the world to solve problems, but it takes only two good ole Southern boys to come up with a real workable solution.

You'd think since the south will suffer the financial consequences of this spill that paying them to clean it up with good old fashion southern ingenuity would be good for them and O'Bama would be grateful?!!

I know I'd be thankful and I live in Cali...

Something tells me the Prez doesn't give a shoot about the deep south...

Brad you are exactly correct. He probably hated having to come down to the coast and look at the damage.

It almost appears that with all the technology and all the knowledge we have that someone doesnt want to address the problem.
When they cut the pipe (or tried to) so they could cap it, they claimed the pipe was moving so the saw got cut.....ever see those big rig saws they use to grab huge trees and cut them down?
Seems that technology could be used to hold the pipe just like they hold the tree to clean cut the pipe and then cap the damn thing.... but I'm just a redneck from Missouri without all the knowledge and expertise of a community organizer and spendaholic.

But it does seem that a solution doesnt seem to be coming from all the resources we have....on purpose?? Maybe those 9-11 conspiracy theorist should start investigating the possibility that this was self created to promote an agenda of the current anti-oil administration.

In the past we've dropped hay on floating oil as a cleanup method. It works great, is cheap, and is very easy to pick up. It also would help the farmers who sell hay to support their families and would create jobs for thousands harvesting the hay and hauling it down here. There have been too many brilliant suggestions to count that have been ignored by BP, the Coast Guard, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, and the "administration". It's baffling everyone down here!
