Walter Cronkite just passed away

It was just reported on T.V. that the great Walter Cronkite has passed away. He will surely be missed.

Met Walter once at Seoul, Korea airport as I was flying out for mid-tour leave. Didn't have much time to chat with him but we spoke and shook hands. He was a great newsman.

Unfortunately we've seen the last of the true "Reporters" who reported the news without the agendas and mind-control spin required to work for the corporate mega-media-conglomerates today.

Trivia note. Walter Cronkite went to San Jacinto High School in Houston Texas. My Mom attended the same school some twenty years later.
