1999 Nomad 1500. Purchased in 2011 with only 5,240 miles on it. Just a few mods. Didn't want to dump $3000 worth of parts on a $3900 bike. Full Fire and Steel chrome pkg and Cobra true duals exhaust (all on it when purchased). I added the Memphis Shades batwing, Kury highway pegs, Kury grips, Mutazu backrest, Vista-cruise throttle lock, laid the license plate down, went darkside with rear tire. Jog'd it at 20,000 miles (prior to failure). JOG failed and SOG'd it at 47,000 miles. That's pretty much it. Had the stock seat re-worked, and it helped a little, but still not great.
