Right side only... it's in the upper left of the air box once you pull off the cover...

It's part number 92192A, you can use a rubber plug to seal it off, check out the parts diagram here:

Will adding a Thunder Air Kit eliminate the need to plug that tube....or will that still need to be done? Nothing is more annoying than that god-awful popping on decel....

You can plug what you need to for a couple dollars, or free if you have a collection of stuff in your garage like I do.
I used a rubber stopper in the hose, and siliconed a plastic furniture leg cap over the hole in the air box.

good luck on getting rid of the popping, I have the Cobra AT fuel processor and still get the popping, Cobra says it is just the nature of the beast, and yes I have put in new gaskets both at the headers and where the tri ovals go onto the pipes, popping is still there. Cobra said a lot of people pay for that Harley sound, I told Cobra if I had wanted that I would have got a Harley, in other words, live with it I guess.

You'll plug the AIS, here's a pic of my Thunder and you can just make out the hose, I blocked it off with a rubber stopper and a small clamp. I plan on completely removing the AIS once I've found some caps for the covers on the cylinder heads.

The popping can be near completely eliminated by use of a properly configured map but I do believe riding style and throttle technique is playing a part with some 1700 owners unable to remove the deceleration popping. With my current setup and map occasional popping seems dependent on how quickly the throttle is snapped closed, if I properly roll off the throttle no popping but if I get silly and let it snap closed she'll pop every time... I'm still continuing to refine my PCV map.

When I plugged that hose off on my old 1600 Nomad...there was no more popping period. Although different motors, you would still think that would work to end it.
