chucksters air kit install vaquero

just got done installing chucksters airbreather assembly thought i would post a few pics. Very straight forward install follow the directions. The only place i deviated from the directions was when i installed the back plate I put a little RTV silicone on just to make sure i didn't have any air leaks, Looks good I like the fact that it still looks stock. Will ride tomorrow let you know how it works. The picture quality isn't real great but best I can do.

You get pipes yet Mike... was thinking you did. So what kind of "tuner" did you get?

I've got chuckster's air kit too. But waited to install it until I get a fuel processor. UPS tracking says I'll have my PC-V late Wednesday. The only unfortunate detail is that my wife and I are going to Chicago in the car this weekend.

I see MaKaw still pulls air from the "other" side. You'd think they'd learn the first time around.

I too will be awaiting your report....I ordered all that similar stuff for my new Voyager and am just awaiting its arrival at the dealership...!! Now you just need a set of RacnRay's modified throttle grips....and you should be set...at least on the performance side of your mods....

Joe, thanks for the handlebar risers (and the fast service)....they arrived yesterday and are going on the bike today...! I may have to move the brake hose to the right of the triple tree....we'll see how it goes...

I will be interested in the dyno runs myself that is what i am going to have done next but as for the test ride? My bike has a good hard pull now when i grab a handfull, runs much stronger thru out the gears, I still get a little [popping on decel] but i almost have to go looking for it so i am very happy with this so far.The engine now makes a little bit more noise intake noise i hope but i think this engine might just be a little noisy anyway.cant wait to see the dyno results ray comes up with.
