My friends call me KC!

I live and work around Wichita, KS. I took delivery on my 2011 Red Vaquero May 21st 2012.
Things added or changed so far in the order done;
      1. Audio Adaptor Kit K10400-041(Dealer Pricing)
      2. Downloaded Trips Service Manuals for 1700 Nomad, Vaquero & Voyager (Free)
      3. Ordered a Mini Air Pump (On E-Bay $14.99 including shipping)
      4. After market 132db horn (Auto Zone 19.99 plus tax)

I owned Harley Davidsons from 80-87 then married life caught up. I had a 75 Sportster, an 84 Sportser, a FXRT Sport Glide, a 79 Low Rider. Went without from 88 to 09 when I bought a 09 Vulcan 900 Classic. I put a fairing off an 84 Harley Tour Glide and saddlebags. Check out the attached pictures.

2x18wheeler contacted me about which horn I used. The horn I used from Auto Zone is BH103FBL. It really doesn't matter which one you choose though. Any 12 volt horn you can bolt onto your bike will work and should not require any change in fuses or adding a relay. You will have to split the plug on the Vaquero which has two plastic string things holding the plug end of the wires together or make up a set of 2 jump wires (some bikes only use one wire, but the horns have instructions on that setup also).

Welcome from the Green Mountain state, I hope you enjoy the forum.

P.S. Don't let the Monkeyman see that RG fairing mounted on a Kawasaki!

Welcome from Ohio! Impressive job mounting the RG fairing on the 900. Have often though of trying to put one on my Nomad, but it was hard enough mounting the standard batwing.
