Engine Guard Chaps
I placed this in the 1500-1600 section, but realized it should have gone here. My apologies for the duplicity of the threads.
_____________________________________________ Just putting this out to the forum. It's getting cold and the timing couldn't be better. I've created engine guard chaps that will fit 1500 and 1700 Nomads, Suzuki Boulevard C50/Volusia (Cobra engine guard), and Honda Shadow Aero 750 (Cobra engine guard). I have posted pics of the C50 and Shadow 750 in post #5. I'm currently working on chaps for 1600s and Vaqueros. The chaps are black marine vinyl and fit each bike tightly. I can get other color vinyls if you prefer. The right and left sides attach to each other via 2 parachute quick-release clips that are held on with nylon straps sewed into the vinyl at the top and bottom of the radiator. They also attach to the bottom of the bike frame with velcro straps. The front and back panels on each side are held on by velcro or snaps, depending on model and accessories. They have holes cut for your foot pegs, which are personalized based on the location of your pegs. When you place an order, tell me where yours are located and/or send me a pic. Each set of chaps comes with a vinyl carrying case to store the chaps when they are not being used. The cost for forum members is $60 including shipping to CONUS. I've already received several orders from members of this and the VR forums. I accept payment via paypal (preferred) or will allow forum members only to mail me a check. My paypal account is wldn_jsn@yahoo.com (W L D N underscore J S N). Once payment is received, I'll send you an invoice/receipt and then update it with shipping information once the chaps have shipped (via USPS Priority Mail). My goal is for each set of chaps to be tight on your bike. If you're not happy with them, I'll work with you until you are happy with them. If you want to place an order, send me a PM. In general, engine guard chaps reflect the engine heat back onto your lower legs and feet. They protect against wind, rain, and cold. Here are a few pics of them on my bike, as well as a link to where David received/installed his. HwyRider tested the fit of the 1700 chaps on his bike. http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=35517 If you have any questions, let me know. I'm willing to work with you.

I would like to see some good shots of the Vaquero chaps once you have them finished.

Will do. Godfather wants a pair for his Vaq. As soon I get them to fit the way I like them, I'll post the pics here. Same with the 1600, C50, and Shadow

Selling chaps for C50 boulevards with cobra engine guards as well. Just heard from customer that they fit perfectly, but do not have pics yet. Working on Nomad 1600, shadow aero 750, and vacquero templates.
Its getting colder. Let me know if you want chaps. Feel free to ask questions.

Update: Chaps for 2 more bikes are available for sale. See attached pics.
- The 1st is a Suzuki Boulevard C50 with Cobra engine guards. NOTE: the owner did not attach the bottom velcro to the frame in the pics. He stated they fit the bars perfectly and he was extremely happy with them. This is why they do appear to be tight in the pics. Here is his feedback: Bamabrat made me a set of Cobra bars chaps. Excellent work, fits perfectly, tight and easy to put on and take off even in the rain. If you have a C50 his chaps do not interfere with your brake pedal. Some other ones will not allow a full depression of your brakes - The 2nd bike is a Honda Shadow Aero 750 (model VT750CA) with Cobra engine guards. I just delivered these to a co-worker today at lunch. Very snug fit. He was also extremely happy with them. Here is the feedback I received today (10/21/2013) from him... Jason, Just an shout – out about how pleased I am with the new chaps. I did a Sunday morning-early afternoon ride to Toccoa Falls and they worked great! I really enjoy having warm feet and lower legs without having to plug in for it. I just had my heated gloves working and I was feeling great all over! Another customer should receive his Nomad 1700 chaps today. Once I get pics of them installed on his bike, I will post them as well.

Got mine today, installed them and went for a ride in 48 degree weather. Chaps fit great and worked great. Whenever I upgrade my bike I will buy from Bamabrat again. Great price and product. Thanks

A question if I may......I'm interested in these. The fit looks good and people seem happy with them. Price is reasonable. My only concern is that it appears my highway bars are a somewhat different shape than the ones in the photos. Also my pegs are mounted considerably lower on the bars and the cutouts don't look like they would match up.
I need to get out the door right now, but I'll get some photos and put them up later so you can see what I'm talking about. Thoughts?

Here are a couple photos showing where the pegs attach and the general shape of the bars. They're supposed to be dealer installed Fire and Steel but I can't say for sure.
