Winshield vent

Made some larger lowers that are really working well. Buffeting is completely gone now. It's great for this time of year but I'm wondering about hot weather & this has got me thinking about a winshield vent. Anybody installed one per Gadget's page? http://www.gadgetjq.com/lj_windshield_vent.htm

I've never ridden a bike w/a winshield vent. Do they flow alot of air? If anyone has done this, would you do it again? Does it flow enough air to make it worthwhile? Pros/cons etc?

I don't know anyone who has installed their own vent. I'm sure someone with a Clearview shield with a vent will chime in soon.

In the summer I take the large lowers off and replace them wtih the factory lowers so I'm cooler...............

A lot cheaper and easier than a windshield vent and best of all NO RATTLES.....

That is a good idea! I have thought of the larger lowers but I was worried about the summer heat. With your idea I can switch back and forth!!.Thanks!

Yeah, I thought of that & it would be easy enough to do but having never ridden with one, I'm curious about the winshield vent. Looks like a good idea. Are they notorious for rattling?

I installed the Goldwing vent. I don't think that it makes that much of a difference, because you're still wearing the helmet and glasses.

LOOKS cool, though.
