Small Hardware Item Sought

Just did cam chain extenders on my 1600. Everything went smoothly except when putting the mounting screws back into the lower air duct I discovered that one of the square nuts was missing from the duct.

To my shame I discovered this item is mentioned in the service manual as being an item that you cannot order from Makaw separately. They come with the air duct, and the manual explicitly says not to lose one.

I never throw away used fasteners unless they're in poor condition so I'm hoping that among all of you who have done the right side air intake mod to your 1600 there has to be at least one of you pulled those four square nuts out of what was left of your air duct and dropped them into a coffee can.

Thanks, that's an option. I could also probably buy a whole bag of them on Amazon for 15 bucks. But I'm still hoping somebody in this forum dropped theirs into their coffee can of small treasures. That would be an easy fix.

What is the thread diameter and pitch?

That will help tremendously.

It's 5mm dia .80 mm pitch. Didn't get much response so I just made one. Struck out in the local hardware stores.
