I used an LED replacement bulb in the stock lamp, 3000 lumens. RacnRay was in front of me during the day time on a ride around Lake Okeechobee and could not believe how bright it was. $32.00

My Aux driving lights arrive on Thursday and I bought the H8 matching LED replacement bulbs. 6000k color temp. They will light up the night for sure, but I really have them more for daytime visibility for Cagers to see me coming. I rarely ride at night.

I buy alot of stuff on Amazon. I have my driving lights coming tomorrow. Got them on Amazon for $218.00. They were $261 everywhere else unless you found them used.

Cool. I found that if you put things on your wish list for a while, the price starts to drop in a week or two. Doesn't work for everything but some things I got about 30% off waiting for a couple of weeks.

I think we highjacked this thread but it's been a long one anyway.....LOL

Yup; I'll even derail my own thread further by suggesting an Amazon Rewards Visa. I buy a lot on there too plus I use Amazon Smile to support the Wildlife Rehab group my Mom works in...same prices and I get a percentage back, they get a percentage and I just pay the card as soon as I use it so it's like free money!

Here is aquestion, when you folks installed the bulbs, did you re-adjust your headlamp? Thanks. I have Afterburner 4500LM, don't ride much at night either, but the light is good even in the light. I find for conspicuity, smaller LED lights on the forks or highway bar, give more of a presence. Even with driving lights, on some bikes, it all blends into one big light coming at you, whereas with lights located lower, it mkes a huge viusual difference heading on. Just my own observation.

I did adjust the headlight up a little. I rode at night the day I installed it. My buddy rode up ahead and said the low beam looks a little washed out. So I raised it and all is well. During the day I ride with the high beam on any way. I installed the driving lights with LEDs this morning. Holy chitt they are bright. Gonna turn them on in the garage when it gets dark later.

XLock,

I like what you did with the headlight, in fact I am going to do the same thing.

Have you thought about installing the JW Speaker Fog Lights? Maybe model 6045?

I'm trying to figure out how I can get those on the bike as well.
