Funny you should mention that. I go on an annual ride with a group of guys, the usual suspects. last August we started our annual journey by crossing into British Columbia at Sumas and spent the first night in Hope. The next day we traveled east to Penticton for a couple of days. The ride along BC 3 was very nice, and scenic. We didn't hit any rain the entire trip. Then headed back south and crossed back into the States at Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Once in Idaho we wondered east into Montana.

My wife and I have a long time friend who has lived in Victoria for several decades. We love to go up and visit, especially during Christmas. The city is always so festive.

We've lived in the Pacific Northwest all our lives, and love to call it home. Of course it's important to keep the myth going about it raining all the time... But, all the locals know when the mountains lift their cloud cover, the view from home will flat out blow your mind.

Looking forward to the return of next year's riding season..

Cheers, David
