Even ebc is 55$+ for the sintered pads, it's expensive as hell. I got these Chinese ones, but I'm on the fence about installing them or selling them and going with something else.

I bought a set of ebc pads for the rear of my 04 1600 classic for 47 bucks, I thought that was ridiculous, so I went with a seller on ebay and got the fronts for 12 bucks, haven't installed them yet but I think they should work just fine, I think its all in the name. probably the same people make them and they just put their name on it.

That's what I hoping, but I don't want it to be a safety issue...

All I can find on the site is the service manual.
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
Just ordered a set of sixity pads. They no longer list them in a set of three.
Ordered 2 sets of 231 and one 229 for 26.00.

Thanks, so they're Kevlar, not sintered. Has anyone used these specific pads before on their bikes? Are they good?

I only ask cause they're so cheap compared to OEM and EBC. Thanks

Mine came today. I've always ran organic / semi metallic. They are on my bike now.

At first I tried sintered. They made noise and wore the rotors too fast.

Um, if the pads produce more brake dust and they start out at the same thickness as what you had when new, then I would say they are going to wear faster.

I've always ran sintered pads, but yesterday I ordered a 6 pad set (full front & rear) of the sixity ceramic pads for $17.36 on Ebay. They list them for 2005-2006 Nomad, but 2003-2008 1600 Classic, and 2005-2008 Nomad all use the same pads, and if I'm not mistaken, so do the 1500s. Ceramics are supposed to be easier on the rotors than sintered, and make a lot less dust than the organics or Kevlar. Here's a link to them
