I just ordered this and wanted to pass it on. It appears to be a great deal. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=96349

Looks like it would work fine, if you are to use it in the garage as opposed to bolting it to the bed of a trailer, you could mount it on a plate of some sort.

The price is certainly good, next time I go to the Harbour Freight store I am going to check it out.

See the pics of one I made for my Shadow, I had to spread the tire holder thingies to use it on the Nomad.

Hey beezer that's the one the guy who came to get my C50 had bolted in his trailer. Worked like a charm for him. Told me he got it at HB for 30. I may pick one up too.

Wow ! Thats one heck of a deal Beez. I wonder if ya can get them at their store? Also will the chock fit yer tire? I know they come in various widths, but didn't see anything about size in the listing!

The store may honor the online price if you print it out. One guy on another site said he uses it on his C50 and his Dad uses one for his 1600 Nomad and that was all I needed to hear :)
Under $40 shipped with no traveling on my part and no sales tax makes this an exceptional value.

Thats exactly what Im looking for to install in my trailer, unfortunataly they cost about $150.00 up here. I'll be in Pa within a couple of months and will maybe be able to find some at Harbour Freight. I don't think they ship to Canada.

I called my local Harbor Freight in Gaithersburg Maryland. They actually have them in stock. I was a bit surprised. They said the price was $39.95. I told them about the Internet price and was told that I could get the Internet price if I print it and brought it into the store.

I will check it out tonight or tomorrow and post the width.

beezer,

Thanks! I was just about to purchase one this week, in fact I almost ordered one for $66 from a local Motorcycle dealer. It is always nice to save a few bucks. They all add up.

I've got a similar style on my Kendon trailer. Works great but your price is really good. It holds so well that it really takes some muscle to 'rock it' back off the chock when you take it off the trailer. Buck
