Who's ridin' today (3/15/08)?

I'm scootin' out in a couple of hours to check out the Bentonville Battleground area with the Southern Cruisers then hit some back roads for a bit today. The weather is supposed to be great.

Anyone else ridin'?

I went yesterday by myself, did 80 miles. Wife came home from work and said we're going for a ride on sat. I told her after I wake up and it clears up, maybe around noon.

Going to try and get a quick loop in between the two fronts. Rode Tues and Wed though. ......When gassing up Tues a man filling up an RV (probably had to make a loan to do that) came up to me and said he'd pay for my fill-up if I paid for his...haha. Anyway, he was standing at the front of the bike..guess he say the V on the windshield and read no further...he said "Is that a Victory?'LOL ::)

I rode today, Up @ 5 am. at work @ 6am then I get to ride home at 6 tonight

My wife and I will be riding today. We are in Wilmington, NC. Not far from Myrtle beach I guess. It is a sunny morning and we are expecting highs in the 70s. Hope it holds through tomorrow.

This will be my wife's first real ride on the bike. Her other ride was around the block, so I don't think that counts.

Hope everyone has a nice and safe ride.

qvc, I lived in Florence my first two years of teaching. Taught in Lake City then in Olanta. That was about 20 years ago.

vaccam, if I had thought about it, I would have gotten my group to come your way. Our first officer loves Sticky Fingers and we head that way at least 2 times a year for ribs.

I'm riding with the Phoenix Motorcycle Riders Group today. We're riding to the city of Globe, eating brunch there and then riding N throught he Tonto Basin to a little watering hole called Jake's Corner, then back to the valley via the Beeline Hwy. It will be about 200 miles today. 35-40 bikes riding through the Superior Tunnel on US 60 ought to be a thrill.

I may try to run around the block today, there is a lot of snow melting here, and the roads are all wet and sandy in places. I don't like getting the bike sprayed with sand and salt as it makes cleaning it a big job, with sand grit getting everywhere. Once the streetcleaner comes by in a few weeks the roads are fine again.

About 70 in Vegas today. A little breeze from the North but good riding weather. I rode to Phoenix and back last weekend and put on close to 800 miles. What a great ride that was.
