JULY 19 ride to Smith Mtn. Lake

OK, here goes with all new stuff. We are still planing on riding up on Sat. the 19th and coming back on Sun.the 20th. We will be staying at the Inn at Sunset Cay. If anyone else is coming please post so I will know who will be there so we can either meet up on the way up or once we get there we can find each other.

My wife and I are riding down Sat morning. We plan on making it a day trip. I should be able to find Sunset Cay pretty easy. Let me know if any set times to meet.

Don't know of a exact time as yet. We are leaving around 8:00am Sat. morning and hitting the Parkway, stopping at Mabry Mill and eating some breakfast, then getting on VA 860 over to Hwy 40 and then on up to the Lake. My GPS says it will take me about 2 hours, but then we will stop and eat. But should be there no later than 12:00 noon. I will PM you my cell number so we can talk. Todd also said that he might be able to make it up just for the day too. Aaron

It doesn't look like I'm gonna make it. You guys have a great time. My brother will be in town and I would hate to not get to see him.

I am really sorry I cant make this one after I heemed and hollered for it. You folks have fun and be safe. And save a little petrol for the following Saturday to burn going up to Mount Mitchell.

We are still going. But I don't know about anyone else. I think Classic1 is coming down just for the day, but have not heard from him lately.
