Sad news
Cliff Evans (vulcane) father passed away earlier today after an extended illness.

Sorry to hear of your Dads passing Cliff.
Even though you know it is coming your never ready. He is at peace now. Cindy and I send condolences and prayers.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. My dad was laid to rest yesterday with a military funeral. I'll miss him a lot, but now he's in a better place, and not suffering from the after effects of having 3 strokes. In February 2010, I brought him home to live with me, cause I just couldn't see putting him in a home. My wife and I had to give up a lot of "our life" to make this happen, but, after all, he was my dad. The biggest thing we had to give up was just hopping on the Nomad and taking off. I too would like to thank my son Eric, because he was a lot of help to us. He would tend to my dad and let us attend the last few rally's. I do miss my dad, but I'm happy for him too, and as we re-enter "our life", when ever I'm riding, I'll be thinking of him. He loved bikes too, but hadn't ridden since the '50s, back then, he had an Indian.
Again, I would like to thank everyone, and a special "Thank you" to Dick for being there.
