When I do it, I upload them to photobucket. Then when I post I click the little picture icon to insert it and put the link in where it requests it.

Ordered the wrap yesterday. Dropped crashbars at the sandblaster today and will have them to powdercoating by the end of the week!!! I'll let you know how it all works out...

Way to go! You will love the look when it is all done. I finally had it out on the road today, and everybody had good things to say. A couple folks were convinced it was painted where I used the vinyl wrap!

Have fun with it, that is what it is all about working on your own ride!

Thanks!
I have been riding it a couple of days making sure everything functions properly and that nothing else major needs done. After tomorrow I will finally get to clean it up and detailed! Can't wait to see the finished product.

I have the Vance and Hines Pro-Pipe. I blacked out the exhaust shields and muffler to get the look I wanted.

Tape on the engine head covers

ZZ,

Do you think the tape will hold up to the heat on the engine head covers?

Thanks

Roger

The vinyl in the cylinder head covers is fine. I ran the bike up to temp and then touched those covers before I out te vinyl on. They weren't that hot and since applying the vinyl I have has zero issues. I am confident it is safe.

Unfortunately I am considering selling my Vaquero. If you look through this post you will see I have done a lot of work to it, and shown it a lot of love. Unfortunately, I am beginning a new job, and my riding season is over. It seems like a waste to let it sit in my garage and waste away. I will start a thread in the classifieds as well, but I am going to ask 13k. There is only about 2k miles on the bike, and you can see all the work that was done. PM me if interested.
