As long as you visit St Augustine and a couple other recommended places, (Ask MAS 'bout that) Key West will be worth the trip. Now that I've been there and might go back some day if I could see a few other places along the way. I'd say you won't regret going there, but for me the biggest reason for going was because it was there.

There are the fruit cakes there that folks talk about, but they keep to themselves in their place, and don't bother the tourist. Oh yeah, they are quite happy to pose for pictures.

You gonna like it.

I'm spending the winter in Boca Raton (halfway between West Palm and Ft Lauderdale).

If anyone needs suggestions, I lived here for over 30 years before moving north.

That's the way I would do it.
That sounds like a plan! Take the Trolly tour of Key West while you're there. You may want to add a day. It's interesting.
Yeah, and go strap on the Water Jet Pack. It jet propels your as up into the air like Superman. You'll enjoy it, if it don't kill you.

St. Austine is really nice. Mrs Kaw and I are considering there, or Tybie Island, GA for vacation. We're coming up on the first trimester of several to come of our EMPTY NEST phase of life.

Last year when Deborah & I rode to KeyWest, St. Augustine was the highlight of the whole trip.

And of course the trip back home was nice, too many strange people down in that neck of the woods???

(I'll leave it with that)

Hey everyone,
We're planning another trip down to the Keys but we're not going to stay in KeyWest though we're staying in Marathon Keys.
It'll be October the 2nd week.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it? Thanks Goose
