Although I never personally talked to Ells, we did do some email communication. He was originally just a little ways from where I live and we talked about Iowa. Very educated and personable man. Always had good input on the forum. Going to be a loss to all. RIP _/\_

I am deeply saddened by this news. I very much enjoyed the time I did get to spend with Ells...he was one really nice guy. My prayers to his wife and family.

This is very sad to hear. I met Ells a few years ago in Cortez. He was very kind and made a lasting impression.
